Fly Fish Ireland offer saltwater fly and lure fishing along Co.Corks beautiful coastline. Boat and shore fishing available catering for all level of anglers encompassing iconic locations such as Cork Harbour, kinsale, Courtmacsherry and Rosscarbery.
Ireland has long been regarded as one of Europe’s top Bass fishing destinations and the fishing along the Cork coastline is as good as it gets anywhere in Ireland.
This rugged coastline offers an endless amount of locations for a diversity of species such as Bass, Wrasse, Pollock, Mullet and the occasional Gilthead Bream.
These are for the most part unpressurised vibrant waters where catch and release is practised by more and more anglers ensuring the viability of future stocks.
We have learned to keep our options open in our approach to our guiding and our own fishing. The weather is the biggest challenge when fishing anywhere in Ireland with wind being the defining factor on the final choice of destination on any given day.
During summer months, we keep a number of boats on the water in Cork Harbour and Courtmacsherry. We also have boats on trailers ready to launch in locations protected from bad weather. For locations where there is no access to launch a boat, we use Pontoon boats that can be launched virtually anywhere. Fitted with casting platforms, electric motors and gps, they provide a safe and very affective platform to fish from.
We have gained a vast knowledge of the cork coastline over the past 20 years in search of Bass on fly and lure and have developed a love and appreciation for Pollock, Wrasse and Mullet which have provided us and many clients with great experiences and wonderful memories.
